Drawing in the Fluid Tense

This is a technique developed as part of the FutureMuseum project, which seeks to address the changeability of the landscape through eliciting multiple simultaneous temporalities.

The drawings emerge from encounters with a specific place, sometimes resolved entirely in the field and sometimes reworked over multiple sessions in the studio and on site. The act of drawing can itself become a performance, while the resulting images are also used as a catalyst for further conversation and exchange.
